We are so excited to announce the launch of our Trail running and Rambling weekends to explore the beautiful Gower peninsular. Expect to follow the path of the wild Welsh mountain hill ponies and see the sheep grazing on the hills. The coastal path will not disappoint with it’s breath-taking scenery.

Saturday, after our special King’s Head runners breakfast, we will be heading out on our guided runs (and walks). We will have a few guides so you can choose your pace. We will also provide routes, maps and directions for those who want to run on ahead or just ramble behind. Distances will vary from 10km/15km and 20km. Shuttle service and refreshments will be provided or those long distance runners can continue on back to the King’s Head.
Sunday, after another King’s Head runners breakfast head out on another mapped and guided 10km run (or walk) before returning back to the King’s Head for a delicious home-cooked 2 course Sunday roast *Vegan options available

As well as our extensive gin & whisky menus the King’s Head also has several alcohol free drinks available including Heineken 0 on draft.

Saturday, after a delicious cooked breakfast, get suited and booted to head off for a guided walk to the famous Blue Pool where you will prepare yourself for a refreshing jump into the depths of this natural wonder.
After breakfast Sunday, a guided run to Rhossili awaits (don’t worry maps and directions will be provided for those who want to run on ahead or walk and take in the views). Take the opportunity to explore Wales’ tremendous rugged coastline, followed by the chance to experience a little bit more of Gower’s magic — the Giant’s Cave abseil. You will find yourself disappearing into a hole in the ground, traversing an open cavern and touching down on the soft sand of Fall bay.
Live music will be provided on Saturday night so you can celebrate and dance the night away with fellow adventurers.
